1. Introduction

OrderWithEase, operated by VerveDev Inc., provides a multi-tenant online and mobile ordering platform for restaurants and related businesses (“Tenants”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information from Tenants and their customers when using our Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. Tenant Information. Business name, address, contact info, administrator names/emails, billing details (processed via third parties), and branding assets (logos, colors).

B. Customer Order Data (processed for Tenants). Customer names, contact info, order details, transaction timestamps, and payment status. Payment data is handled by third-party processors.

C. Technical Data. Device/browser type, IP address and approximate geolocation, usage activity, and access logs for security and analytics.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform and features;
• Manage Tenant accounts, billing, and support;
• Process orders and facilitate payments via integrated providers;
• Send important updates, notices, and feature communications;
• Monitor usage for fraud prevention and security.

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

4. Payment Processing

Financial transactions are handled by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe Connect). OrderWithEase does not store complete credit card or banking details. Processing is subject to each processor’s own terms and privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

• Tenant business data is retained for the life of the account and a reasonable period thereafter to meet legal/tax obligations.
• Customer order data is retained as necessary to support order records and Tenant reporting.
• You may request deletion of your Tenant account by contacting [email protected].

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share data only as needed to operate the Platform: with payment processors, hosting and infrastructure providers, email and analytics vendors, when required by law, or in connection with a merger/acquisition. Vendors must follow comparable privacy and security standards.

7. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable safeguards (encryption in transit, secure networks, access controls). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, improve functionality, and collect usage analytics. You can control cookies via your browser settings, but disabling them may affect Platform functionality.

9. Tenant Responsibilities

Tenants are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws in their jurisdiction and for informing customers of their own data practices. For customer order data, OrderWithEase acts as a technology provider and data processor on behalf of the Tenant.

10. International Transfers

Data may be processed or stored on servers outside Canada. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers subject to appropriate safeguards.

11. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable period as required by law.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in practices or legal requirements. The latest version will be posted on our website and identified by the “Last Updated” date.
